Altadena Strong
Remembering the Resilience of Our Community and Honoring the Heroes of January 2025.
A Message of Community & Gratitude
The January 2025 Eaton Fire was one of the most challenging moments in the history of Altadena and the surrounding foothill communities. As the blaze spread through Eaton Canyon and into our neighborhoods, it tested the strength, resolve, and spirit of every resident.
At Lake Smog Test Only, our roots are deep in this community. We watched as friends, neighbors, and families faced the unimaginable. Today, we stand in solidarity with those who lost their homes, their memories, and especially those who lost loved ones during the fire. Your resilience is the foundation upon which Altadena is rebuilding.
Honoring Our First Responders
We owe a profound debt of gratitude to the thousands of brave men and women who stood between the flames and our homes.
LA County Fire Department
For their tireless efforts on the front lines in Eaton Canyon and West Altadena.
Paramedics & EMS
For providing life-saving care and support during the most critical hours of the evacuation.
Sheriff & Emergency Staff
For managing the complex evacuations and keeping watch over our neighborhoods.
To the firefighters who traveled from across the state, the paramedics who worked without sleep, and the volunteers who organized relief centers—thank you. Your courage saved countless lives and protected the place we call home.
Altadena is more than just a location on a map; it is a community bound by shared experiences and a mutual support system. As the reconstruction continues and the hillsides begin to heal, we remain committed to being a supportive neighbor to everyone in Altadena and Pasadena.
